The CBR Africa Network (CAN) is pleased to share a valuable learning opportunity from the International Disability Alliance (IDA): the CRPD A to Z online course.
The course provides a comprehensive introduction to Articles 3–33 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). It explains the rights of persons with disabilities and the obligations of governments to respect, protect, and fulfill these rights.
Designed for learners at all levels, the self-paced course offers an accessible foundation for understanding the Convention while providing opportunities to explore the interpretation, jurisprudence, and practical application of each article.
CAN encourages its members, partners, Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), practitioners, researchers, students, and other stakeholders to take advantage of this free learning opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and promote disability-inclusive development across Africa.
