Webinar on Assistive Technology, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Climate Action
We are pleased to invite you to take part in a webinar on assistive technology, disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction, and climate action on 10 July 2025 from 14:00 to 15:00 CET.
The session will present findings from a global study and policy brief developed by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) in collaboration with the ATscale Global Partnership for Assistive Technology.
The findings highlight how the needs and rights of assistive technology (AT) users—including persons with disabilities, older persons, and others with functional difficulties—can be more effectively addressed in disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate action. A draft policy brief will be shared for consultation and key stakeholder feedback.
