ANNUAL NARRATIVE AND FINANCIAL REPORT 2022
The United Nations Partnership on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Fund (UNPRPD Fund) is a unique funding
mechanism that brings together UN entities, governments, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), and broader civil society to support the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
(CRPD) and disability inclusive Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through joint programming,
capacity building, and knowledge sharing. The Fund was established in 2012 to channel resources for participating UN organizations (PUNOs) to jointly implement programmes working in partnership with OPDs, governments and broader civil society and has supported over 943 joint UN programmes in 87 countries, mobilizing more than US$65 million.
