The 6th East African International Conference on Communication Disability

It is a pleasure to invite you to 6th East African International  Conference on Communication Disability. The conference is organized by Kenyatta University- KU, Association of Speech and Language Therapist Kenya- ASLTK, and Leibniz Universität- Hannover, Germany.

The East African International  Conference on Communication Disability Conference is biannual event organized by Association of Speech and Language Therapists in East African (ASaLTEA). It is a rotational event among the East African Countries. The current one will be the 6th, which is supposed to be organized by The Association of Speech and Language Therapists (ASLTK). However, to make it even bigger, ASLTK will be co-hosting this conference with Kenyatta University, and the University of Liebniz, Germany. These two university are leading in training speech and language therapist in their respective countries.

The theme of the conference is; Communication Disabilities in Sub Saharan  Africa: Development, Assessment, Treatment and Inclusion. The conference will bring together SLTs from across the globe to discuss new advances in SLT research and its application in and Sub-Saharan Africa context to ensure that the SLTs in the region are highly skilled and trained in the most contemporary advancements in treatment.

Abstracts should be in line with the conference theme.
