Disability Relief Services (DRS)-Tanzania, has continued to manifest its strategic operational intent as it moves ahead
towards becoming among key humanitarian and community services providers within its current and future reached
locations within Tanzania. DRS-Tanzania has gradually evidenced due engagements towards providing operational
initiatives to its key beneficiaries within community of reach our key target populations for now are Persons with
Disabilities (PwDs).
While the former beneficiaries are the cause for the Organization’s existence, the latter beneficiaries have been incorporated within DRS- Tanzania’s objectives.
All in all what is currently been manifested within DRS-Tanzania’s operations in all current operational locations is a
result of right work collaborations with Government Agencies mainly Kasulu district (Kasulu TC & Kasulu DC) and in
particular the respective Councils and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) through its Department for Refugees
Services (DRS) on one hand and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Tanzania Office, in
particular the Kasulu Field Office, the Norwegian Refugees Council (NRC), Water Mission – Tanzania and Help Age
International(HAIT)-Kasulu Office, Medical Team International (MTI) , AIRD, and Danish Refugees Councilor(DRC).
DRS-Tanzania sincerely appreciates and respects all of the existing current and any other prominent future such work
collaborations and assures due diligence in terms of active involvement and becoming accountable accordingly.
DRS-Tanzania’s broad objective is to contribute effectively on the Improvement of Livelihood and Well-being of
Persons with Disability and Elder People in their entire living journey. These is also to Ensure full Inclusion of Persons
with Special Needs (PSNs) with disabilities in all humankind engagements within societies they live as Organization’s
primary operational factor and supporting varied efforts towards improving living status and environment of the Elder
People(EP) as a secondary operational factor.
We do so with a passionate intent of bringing relief and meaningful living to our target beneficiaries who majority live in marginalized scenarios at times neglected situations. We cherish strong ultimate result towards making this fraction of Tanzania citizens be effective contributors to both social and economic aspects. Our operational matrix is through the creation of effective and sustainable work collaboration in any agreeable format with other humanitarian and Community Services Agencies/partners be they National or International and all with a key ambition of collectively adding value contributions towards improved livelihood and well-being of target populations.

Vision.
A society where equity, social justice and rights of persons with Special Needs (PSNs) within stipulated
baskets are guaranteed.
Mission.
To transform PSNs to be dynamic, professional, efficient and effective for the realization of their rights and justice. To contribute towards ensuring equal existence and improved living status to all. We exist towards
improved livelihood and well-being to all citizens.
Objectives.
Is to contribute effectively on the improvement of Livelihood and wellbeing of Persons with Special
Needs (PSNs) in their entire living journey. This is also to ensure full Inclusion to the target beneficiaries in all
humankind engagements within the society they live.
