Elie Bagbila is a Vice Chairperson Executive Committee. He is from Burkina Faso and is a Sociologist. Elie started working as CBR vice-director in 1992 with Caritas Burkina (OCADES Caritas Burkina). He became CBR Project Director in 1994 up to 2004. From 2005 to 2011, he was the Eye hospital Administrator. He joined Light for the World in 2012 as Country Representative. He has been involved with CAN since the 4th Conference in Abuja as an EC member.
Bagbila has competence in HR management, Eye Care programmes, CBR programmes, Training of trainers and field activities on CBR. He is proud to be a CAN member to strengthen Francophone Country CBR Partners. He organized a West-African Francophone Countries CBR conference in Burkina Faso in 2012 and is keen to try new initiatives for his second term in CAN.
