The 7th Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR)/Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) Africa Conference is a significant event focused on advancing information sharing on disability, rehabilitation, disability inclusion and CBR/CBID practices to facilitate improvement in service delivery and improvement in the quality of life for persons with disabilities. It will be held from September 9th to 12th 2024, at Imperial Resort Beach Hotel Entebbe, Uganda.

The conference is convened by the CBR Africa Network (CAN) and hosted by the Government of Uganda, led by the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development (MGLSD). It is supported by various organizations of and for persons with disabilities and development partners.

Attendees will engage in meaningful dialogues, exchange knowledge, network with stakeholders, gain insights into effective disability inclusion practices, and participate in interactive sessions. The conference also offers opportunities to become agents of change and contribute to global initiatives like the SDGs and Rehabilitation 2030 agenda.
