The voice of rights by Abdul Khaliq Zazai AOAD CEO:
As Disability Peer-support advocate Mr. Abdul Khaliq Zazai created the Accessibility Organization for Afghan Disabled (AOAD) is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization established by Person with Disability in 2007. AOAD works for persons with disabilities and their immediate family members. AOAD is registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan with the registration number (956) and with the Ministry of Women Affairs of Afghanistan.

AOAD also works for gender and disability mainstreaming especially women/girls with disabilities. AOAD has an official MoU with the Ministry of Education to improve physical accessibility in public schools and Ministry of Public Health MOPH for Physical Accessible Clinics. The physical accessibility improving Physical Accessibility for all according to the Universal Design for all with public policies implementation. AOAD so far improved 400 publics building more-likely schools for mainstreaming of Children with Disabilities for Accessible education with Accessible Washroom, Accessible Classes with handrails and other type of structures required making the facilities accessible for all.
